Meditate on these things

Philippians 4, 8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Bible (KJV)

This is what the word of God says and Satan knows that. Satan is our enemy and he constantly fights against us to prevent us from doing that which God expects us to do. Worry, fear and anger are three examples of emotions that divert our minds from meditation.

What do you do when you suddenly receive the news that your loved one is suffering from a chronic disease? What do you do when you are stuck in a traffic congested road and you know that you are already behind time? What do you do when another vehicle cuts right in front of you while driving? What do you do when a thief snatches your phone from your hand and run away. What do you do when you discover that you were cheated? What do you do when someone that you loved with all your heart finally tell you that they never loved you? What do you do when your loved one dies?

Philippians 2, 5: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Bible (KJV)

We need God to help us. Jesus Christ faced worse challenges than what we are are facing yet He managed to keep His thoughts in the right place. Let us therefore, pray for that mind which was in Christ to be in us so that our minds may be filled with the things that Lord expects to fill our minds.
